History

History

The suns reflection sparkle on the sea.
The scent of seawater drifted in the air.
Ripples aligning the sand
Waka's pulled ashore.
The Kaea started of their war dance.
Row by row they shout their chant.
They continually slap their chest trying to keep the rhythm.
Interesting people flock to the Waitangi grounds.
A day to remember our history.
An agreement between two countries.
Years after years celebrating partnership.
