Our solar system is located in the outer reaches of the Milky Way Galaxy, which is a spiral galaxy. The Milky Way Galaxy contains roughly 200 billion stars. Most of these stars are not visible from Earth. Almost everything that we can see in the sky belongs to the Milky Way Galaxy.
Our solar system consists of an average star we call the Sun, the planets Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. It includes: the satellites of the planets; numerous comets, asteroids, and meteoroids; and the interplanetary mediums.
The end of the solar system is about 122 astronomical units AU away from the sun, where one AU is 93 million miles 150 million kilometers. That's about three times as far out as Pluto, which is about 40 AU from the sun, or about six times farther away from Earth than Neptune's orbit. The Solar System formed around 4.6 billion years ago. There are eight planets in the Solar System.
My personal opinion about the solar system is that is a good place to explore and it looks so beautiful and it’s facts about it taught me a lot about it for example Venus is closer to the sun but it is not the hottest planet it is Venus because Venus's atmosphere is made out of carbon dioxide,it also has clouds of acid in side its atmosphere. This is called Greenhouse effect. So that's why I wrote about the planets of the Solar system and how big it is,where it is located and how much solar systems their are,I think that one day scientist will one day find another earth just like ours and that's my opinion about the solar system.BY ISAIAH MEYER
